    good product with bad tapes

Posted by Unknown on 4th Oct 2019

Good absorbency. Quiet. Discreet. but the refastenable hook tabs are bad! They will not stay put on an active person. I am used to the old Tena sticky tapes which were far more secure. I bought a huge stock of those at a very low price, and am only now running out. (With the landing zone and tapes, I never woke up in the morning with the garment falling off). I now resort to using clear packing tape around my waist to keep the damn things on, and snug.

    Good with a couple issues

    Posted by J.G. on 15th Sep 2016

Over-all this product for night time has good absorbancy, and is good with getting the wetness away from the skin. I was not a fan of the fasteners I find that if you have to re-adjust the "hook type" (fancy way of saying nearly velcro type) fasteners they grab some of the material away from the out part of the brief so after a few adjustment they become less gripping and can lead to unfastening. To people who tend to sleep and move a fair bit in their sleep such as I do, this can lead to less effectiveness of the brief, but otherwise they absorb a fair bit making the night dry. I did also notice (which is not a good thing) that the material (cloth like outer lining) tends to strech allowing for gaps to happen, again this can pose potential problems for people who tend to move a lot in their sleep. It is very discreet and like in other reviews I agree for people who need to use this product during the day the chance of other people noticing will be minimal, they are very quiet, and outer clothing slide on easily over the brief. In time hopfully Tena will improve the fastening and streching points, but they are deffinatly on the right track.

    Surprisingly Good

Posted by Mr. Incontinent on 20th Jan 2014

These diapers fit very well, and actually work very well too. They lock away the liquid very quickly, and seem to absorb quite a bit too. For a night-type diaper, they are actually surprisingly discreet - they are almost undetectable for sound under clothing. One could easily wear these during the day if needed and not worry about crinkling when it's quiet in the room. I'm not saying they are silent, but compared to pretty much anything else with a plastic backing, they are amazingly quiet. I'd still take the Abena M4 over this for night time, especially given the cost. But if these go on sale, they are a great option. Or if you don't like the bulk and fit of the M4, again, these might be a great option for you.

    No more bedding changing

Posted by Charles on 19th Nov 2013

I leak a lot throughout the night, and also I tend to sleep in awkward positions, so the brief I had before would move around, then I would wet my bed, ruining my mattress and sheets. I discovered these Tena night briefs, made especially for the night. I can continue sleeping in awkward positions without worrying about leaking in the middle of the night.
