The elastic could be wider though.

Medical Compressed Lumbar Cushion
Both my husband & I have lumbar problems (sciatica & osteopenia). We have 1 cushion between the two of us which we use on kitchen chair & living room chair. As it is so helpful we are definitely purchasing for each of us.

This was bought for my elderly father for his kitchen chair. It worked great for him & gave him the needed back support. The only thing I would change would be the elastic to hold it in place - it would be nice if there was some velcro involved as our chair back was wider at the top than the base.
