BEWARE OF THE RETURN POLICY
The composite wheels are a serious flaw, since it has a high rolling resistance a traction problem when on an uneven surface due to the rigidity of the frame, I found it very frustrating trying to go up an uneven incline as well as the lack of momentum when on a smooth surface due to the high rolling resistance. I've watched smaller and less muscular individuals whiz by me with their pneumatic-tired wheel chairs and coast a lot further with each stroke/spin. To top it off Age Comfort wants to charge me a restocking charge of over 20% plus me paying the shipping charges which means I will get about 50% back of what I paid to return a product that is essentially new with about 1km travel in a mall. I'm thinking if donating the chair to a needy person who has an assistant to push him/her around. be sure to check the return policy on any product particularly the higher priced items. This will definitely deter me from my next purchase, a motorized scooter from Age Comfort.
