Very practical extra absorbency for prolonged wearing when there is not much possibility to change in a reasonable time. The long rectangle shape fits pretty much inside any of my diapers inside leak guards.

These are incredible. They can take a full flood and still absorb more. Because they spread the liquid out so quickly, they allow the diaper they are in to absorb everything evenly and much faster. These are nice and long, and wide, so they fit perfectly in the gathers of an Abena M4 or even a Tena Stretch Super. They are quite bulky though, so don't think you're going to be able to add these to any diaper and wear them out in public without being noticed. But for night-time use, these simply can't be beat when paired with a decent diaper.
Update to my previous review....

Having gone through most of a case of these pads, I have to say I'm VERY pleased.
I'm a heavy wetter, and I leak constantly. When I add one of these liners to a Molicare Super Plus, I find I can make through an entire work day (8 hours) without worrying about leaks (since that's the last thing anyone needs to deal with). I would rather have too much protection, than not enough (been there -- no thanks!)
As I mentioned before, these pads add considerable bulk, but since I work from home, this is not an issue or concern of mine. They also get quite heavy as they absorb, so expect your diaper to sag (I use the Abena Body Stocking to keep my diaper from sagging -- great product!).

Wow, these pads are -- without question, the best I've ever used (I've been diaper-dependent since 1984/85).
Not only are they extremely comfortable against (my) skin, they are incredibly absorbent (more so than Tranquility TopLiner Booster Pad #3097). Easily transforms a not-so-absorbent diaper (sorry, "briefs" are underwear) into a reliable option. Great for work, overnight, or extended periods of travel when frequent changes aren't always possible.
Be aware, though, that these pads will also add considerable bulk...but that's a small price to pay for how much extra absorbency these pads provide.
