Adequate. Does pick up. Easy to use.
I have a reacher - the perfect reacher. It is the proper shape. This reacher works but is not good. Sorry I ever bought. recently I have had so many poor products from Age Comfort I will not shop again from them.

Easy to use & versatile
The "Grabber" s easy to use & appears to be able to pick up quite heavy items. It also has a magnet imbedded in one of the arms for picking up dropped nails or screws.
